Kat Dennings was born on 13 June 1986 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and was given the name Katherine Victoria Litwack. Ellen Dennings, Kat's mother is a journalist and speech therapy. Dennings was only a brief student at conventional school, and she was educated in a home setting.
