Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd then went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first minute. She then returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her records in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major capacity. Ladd's win was a majority decision as well as her Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC at ESPN 7.
